In my role as Account Executive, I facilitated class discussions, assigned tasks, and was solely responsible for the team’s ongoing relationship with The Homeless Coalition Executive Director. I worked to set attainable goals, participate in conducting primary research, craft the Campaign Book, and ensure all projects were submitted by their deadlines.

Media Pitch: First Coast News

Through strategic outreach, I secured impactful media coverage for The Homeless Coalition, supporting the organization's goal of raising awareness around housing insecurity. Initiating contact with First Coast News Anchor, Jessica Clark, I effectively pitched the story and arranged an on-air interview with Homeless Coalition Executive Director Debbi Redding. My efforts resulted in a segment during the highly viewed First Coast News At 6 broadcast on November 13, reaching households across St. Johns County. With 7.7 million average monthly pageviews per visit, the accompanying website post extended the story's reach. This successful media relations strategy spotlighted the growing homeless population and the Coalition's mission.
